WELCOME AIDEN !!

After my brother had a genius idea to do a blog for my beautiful new niece Avery we decided it would be a good way to keep our family and friends all over the country updated and its a great way to display the hundreds of photos we take every week. To start off lets do a quick recap of the best day ever! October 26, 2010 we headed to Sutter Roseville early in the morning and prepared to have our son via c-section.

Shortly after we headed into the delivery room and welcomed our bundle of joy Aiden Michael Haga and we got to take our first family photo!

The first thing everyone talks about when a baby is born is which parent they look like. The general opinion was that he looked like Mike did when he was born. Personally I don't see the resemblance ;)

It was an amazing day we will never forget. Another thing we will never forget is that Aiden was a good luck charm and helped the Giants win the World Series ! We are big Giants fans in our household and Aiden is no exception. He attended his first game in the womb and a few times during the torture of the playoffs I thought the anxiety would bring an early arrival. We watched the first few games from the hospital so Aiden got his first Giants outfit and a World Series bear from his friend Jody who was lucky enough to get to be there in person.

Aiden wasn't the only one that got presents though. Because of all the things I gave up during pregnancy Mike surprised me with my favorite treat I had missed for 9 months, sushi !! It was a Japanese Mafia roll and it was amazing !!

The hospital nice because my bed moved and I had a button to push to get whatever I wanted but after a few days it was time to pack up and go home.

We were very excited to take Aiden home and show him his new room we had worked to put together so we will share it with everyone.

Being home was nice and made a lot easier of a transition thanks to our house guest Grammy. She did grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning the bathroom, made us cooked to order breakfast in bed and kept my water cup full so thank you!
